Kal Penn aka Kumar aka #6 aka #9 is staying on permanently!!!

House has a new team member: Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle) has joined the cast of the popular Fox show as a series regular. He plays Lawrence Kutner, a young doctor who comes up with unorthodox ways to diagnose patients. Penn debuted Oct. 2 on the drama as No. 6, one of many doctors vying for a coveted spot on House's exclusive team. Kutner caught House's attention in the episode by resuscitating a patient and suggesting that they get her drunk to better diagnose her rare neurological condition. "Lawrence is a fan of trying random methods of exploration and life saving, and isn't afraid to break the rules a little bit," Penn tells EW exclusively.  The actor, who last appeared on Fox last season as Ahmed Amar in 24, said he already feels at home on the hit drama. "When you start out on a show, nerves can run high, but with House, everyone was so welcoming, I felt like part of the family," says Penn. "Psyched does not even begin to describe it. Awesomeness and thankfulness probably." Penn is also set to appear in Harold & Kumar 2 next year.

That movie is hilarious, and when Doggie Howser showed up, I though I was going to die!

I've been looking for more icons of Kutner but all I have found are a few pictures of Kal Penn, one of him holding the giant bag of weed.

I'm going to have to do a picspam of #6/9 aka Kutner in celebration of him becoming a regular cast member :D

It's alright! Oooh, psychology? Study as in just in your free time or as a major/education/whatnot? My father has a PhD in Psych and is a Psych professor, so right now I'm leaning heavily towards being a Psych major as well.

bonorattle is totally awesome. Her and smurphy487 (I probably... did not get the numbers at the end of her name right... I have like some sort of number dyslexia, I swear) always overload my Flist with glorious glorious Hugh pictures. It's the best part of waking up.

I thought I was going to die when the guy from Two Guys and a Girl showed up, playing the gay nurse/doctor/assistant in the operation scene. And then I thought I was going to die again at the end when Kumar is like "YOU KNOW WHAT, I THINK I'LL BECOME A DOCTOR!"

I have not seen any Kutner icons yet, which is why I took it on myself to make one. Haha, giant bag of weed FTW.

Kutner picspam is totally the way to go.
