Watching "The Secretary"

Holy God, I just finished watching "The Secretary" and all I can say is WOW.

I don't know what I was expecting going into the movie except that I was told by multiple people to watch it and after reading houseketeer's "Soundtrack to Secretary" it seemed like a good idea to do on a Friday nght.

Can I just say I was blown away by how amazing the film was and how amazing Maggie G and James Spader were in it. GUH, I've always loved James Spader, he's a freak but in this movie he was a revelation. Just awe inspiring acting, the emotions he conveyed in his scenes were indescribable.  And Maggie G, amazing, amazing actress.

I honestly can't say enough about the beauty and sexiness of this movie.  A great story and acting.  

I am so in love with naughty James Spader right now. (Well he'll never replace Hugh but damn, he was hot!)

You didn't like Mary Gaitskill's story? Her stories are hard to read in that they're graphic and troubling, very disturbing. But, I think she's extremely talented and an amazing writer. Heartbreaking but amazing.
