An epiphany of sorts and other randomness

1) You know something is meant to be when you learn from your friend that she was going to dial your number the exact moment you ring her. Scary but leads credence to the therory of Twinnery M'colleague!
2) I realized today that for all my protests or denials, I still tend to view certain situations and people with rose colored glasses. Thanks to a random comment on the phone I realized, you know what, you are right! The glasses have come off and certain things are viewed differently and I'm OK.
Life isn't perfect and neither are people.
Never place someone on a pedestal so high that they are bound to fall off no matter how much you think you know them.
Don't fight the battle if you are the only one willing to take a stand.
3) I hate work sometimes. I hate being asked a question that there's no way in Hell I can answer accurately. Thank God I love my boss and she's one of my greatest friends.
4) I really need to keep going to the gym. I can pinpoint my slip into further sadness by when I stopped working out. It felt great tonight and I can't wait to go again.
5) My kick ass random iPod track selection while I was working out. It greatly assisted in my epiphany listed above. Here's the songs.
-If you wear that velvet dress - Bono and Jools Holland (this song is teh sex, it has inspired me beyond belief)
-Be Nice - Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry
-Good Life - Kayne West
-Feel Good INC - Gorillaz
-Figured You Out - Nickelback (Yes I'm ashamed I have a Nickelback song on my iPod, but it's a dirty song)
-Shut Up and Drive - Rhianna
-Just Like a Pill - P!nk
-Rock Your Body - Justin Timberlake
-Minnie the Moocher - BFTV
-Control - Puddle of Mudd (another delightfully dirty song)
-Deja Vu - Beyonce'
-Apologize - Timbaland featuring Onerepublic
-Big Pimpin'/Papercut - Jay-z/Linkin Park mash-up
-Da Baddest Bitch - Trina
-Semi Charmed Life - Third Eye Blind
-Darling Nikki - Foo Fighters (Do I need to explain why this song is hot?!)
-March of the Pigs - Nine Inch Nails
Yeah this song list pwned me.
6) *snort* My son's Baby Einstein DVD just said "WOMBAT" LOL

My husband says I have a problem with loving dirty songs especially ones where the man sings (not raps) the word "fuck"

Date: 2007-11-02 12:22 am (UTC)Nickelback, haha. My friend lives down the road from Chad Kroger. The thing I don't understand about artists that people make fun of, especially mostly the Canadian ones, (like Celine Dion and Bryan Adams) is how are they popular anyway? Who is buying their CDs if everyone "doesn't like" them?/random rant

Date: 2007-11-02 12:33 am (UTC)*Envsions scenes of Jools dancing around my mind!*
I actually have a couple Nickelback songs. I think my issue is that I get bored and irritated if songs are over played.
PS. Barenaked Ladies is one of my favorite bands.

Date: 2007-11-02 12:37 am (UTC)2) After the comparison was made I was like "Oh Hell no" and then at the gym it started to make sense to me and I was OK!
3) Well you know when you use Quickbooks and Excel to keep track of the same information.......
4) Oh God, we'd be deadly and would truly kick some kickboxing ass
5) OK, now seriously I'm giving into destiny! Velvet dress had deliciously inspired me to write.

Date: 2007-11-02 01:09 am (UTC)I promise I will answer the Happiness meme tomorrow.
I haven't really liked who I've become lately (wanting to sleep all day, snapping at people, my emotions everywhere) and I'm not letting it rule me anymore. It's hard and a struggle but I've got to try :)
Hugs to you my dear, thank you for everything.

Gossip mongering is my new favorite pasttime.

Date: 2007-11-02 08:21 pm (UTC)5) I actually like Nickelback! They have some decent songs and they're Canadian. Sure, Canadian artists aren't really all that great, but still... nice to see them doing well.
Oh, and "Minnie the Moocher" is apparently the most played track on my mp3 player. =P

Date: 2007-11-02 11:49 pm (UTC)You should go to the gym honey, I would go if i had any money to register to any gym.
It will make you feel good, i am sure.
I don't any longer see people through rose colored lenses, it's all the other way around.
